We are preparing for 2011
and are looking for support from you for the orphans of Bamako

The Budapest-Bamako Rally has become the biggest humanitarian race in the world. Every year a lot of aid is delivered to Mauritania and Mali, two of the least developed countries in the world. It is left to the participant's conscience what and who they give those things what they bring to Africa. For your donations to our team please use the account below:

Dears Mr   Remko van Ekelen and Rob Veelenturf,

I hope you are all doing well.
We are very pleased to receive this message.
We appreciate your donation.
The car you are offering to the Community to be used as ambulance will be accepted with great interest. a year ago, we built a clinic in the slum community where we work but we could not afford to buy an ambulance. So this donation will be very helpful to the community of Sikoro. It is a very rocky area with descents located next to the mountain. People are very poor over here and cannot afford their healthcare expenses in most cases. Very few families here have access to healthcare. They are afraid of going to the community clinic because they can't pay for the medecines in case they receive a bills for Medications.

The water purification system also will be very useful to the clinic or to the community directly. Here, in sikoro very few families have a running water system established by the government at home. People drink either well water or will go pay purified water somewhere else. With this machine, we can provide purified water to the clinic or install it somewhere in the community if possible. Thank you a lot. I already told about your donation to the Association that runs the clinic and their are all in a hurry to welcome you in our community. These donations represent two challenges in less for us and for the community.

1 st of February sounds like a good day to meet . I will organise this meeting with the community members and our Board.
We have other challenges that we are trying to solve to. It is about the clinic. we are planning to build a real maternity and an enclosure for the whole clinic. We are asking each vehicle team to contribute 50 euros towards construction. This will bring us nearly halfway toward financing construction. remaining funds will be completed by community contributions and commitments from additional donors.
We ask you to please help us pass the word amongst participating teams.
On behalf of of and MHOP's team, I thank you in anticipation.
Feel free to ask any question and I would respond to it as soon as I can.
We also thank Andrew for being the intermediary.

Best regards,
